7 Minute Workout - Beginner to Advanced High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) App Reviews

Almost perfect

I love how you can choose from a small variety of similar exercise for each 30 second interval before starting your workout. iOS also great that you can customize your workout based on the equipment you have on hand (or feel comfortable using). There are also helpful videos of each exercise that you can watch before starting but, even better, they play as you are working out so that you can check your form as you go. I only have one issue with the app. Every time I restart the app it shows Day 1. I have to scroll to the proper day. The history still shows all of my past workouts but I always start back at Day 1. This seems like an easy-to-fix glitch and I hope that happens in the next update.

App does not save your progress

The good: The app offers an easy to understand and convenient work out routine. The bad: The app does not save your progress. After completing day ten of the workout, it should ideally move on to day eleven automatically, but this doesnt happen. It always reverts to day one. You need to remember which day you are on and manually toggle to that day. It also doesnt save your other settings such as workout preferences, etc.

Great app but...it resets ALL THE TIME

None of the other apps do this and I use this one most, please fix bug, its annoying and time draining especially at 5 am when is rather start this app!!! Otherwise great thanks

Good exercise, flawed tracking

The app itself does a fine job of presenting an exercise suite. Good verbal prompting and motion video of the exercise while you do it. Exercise routine can be set to different intensity levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Allows other apps to run audio at the same time. The odd part is that the progress tracking is incomplete. You have to login Lolos account each time you start the app, only to find that progress in this app specifically has been lost. So, if you are doing day 4s routine, you will need to manually advance the app to day 4. This becomes old fast. If this feature is ever corrected, Ill update the rating to 5 stars.

Love it but

I love this app!! Please fix the resetting issue.. Every time you open the app it goes back to day one

Avoid

Loses track of where you are and even some settings (like beginner or intermediate). Tried full reinstall, but now it wont even remember my login and I have to enter all my credentials from scratch. Loved the workouts, but not if it takes me minutes just to set it up each day.

I want to like this but it wont keep me logged in

This ap is great but it wont keep me logged in so I cant track my progress. Its extremely distracting. I want to motivate myself and workout but instead I have to keep logging in and starting from scratch. I would not recommend this app for anyone until they fix this issue.

Completely loses state whenever it loses focus

If you use multi-task to switch away from this app for even a second it completely loses track of what you were doing and resets back to the beginning as if you were starting fresh again. The startup splash screen/sound shows up again and sometimes you even have to log in again. Its very frustrating when no other app behaves like this. Once you actually get it working the exercises are halfway decent. It allows you to pick the equipment you have on hand and set the intensity level on the fly which are all great but this daily login/data loss have to stop. Uninstalled for now...

Love this!

This app isnt perfect but comes close to it. I love it! Im more motivated to workout!

Cant sign up

Not optimized for iphone 6+ either

Will no longer play music

After this update I keep getting errors that it cant play a track on my list. Yes, the music is on my iPhone. Whats strange is that it worked the first day after the update, but not since then. iPhone 5 with latest iOS.

when good apps go bad

used to be good for a quick workout. Now they require you to sign up for an account in order to use the app. That completely destroys it for me.

Needs more options.

Great idea for an app, and I definitely see its value. But, one thing it really needs is more ways to customize your workout -- for example, I am a musician with some serious wrist issues, so I cant do several of the exercises (push-ups for example). A way to customize the app to be able to exclude certain exercises or substitute something else would be very helpful.

Update is garbage

Update requires signup. Im not comfortable with that and I dont need yet another account in a random website. Dont bother with this app. It was good for a quick 7 minute workout. Now it wants to monetize and to violate your privacy and to be intrusive. It became garbage.
